Sound Manipulation
Week 2

Our first lecture was about the most important parts of sound production, including the properties of sound - pitch, loudness, timbre, perceived duration, envelope and spatialisation.
For our first exercise, we were told to edit some files so that it would match the original. We adjusted bass, frequency and quality of sound in the parametric equaliser to achieve this.

After that we were introduced to the reverb tool that is used to manipulate sound to create different effects for a clip of an interview in different environments.

Sound Effects
Week 4

This week's class focused on creating various sound effects and the various tools in Audition used for this - EQ, Pitch Shift, Stretch, Invert/Reverse and layering of sound files. To expose the use of these tools we worked on creating three sound effects - an explosion sound, a monster or alien voice and a triple punch sound effect.

Sound for visual
Week 6

This week, we were asked to create the suitable sound effect for the visual, which was a scene from Iron Man. We have to find the individual components used to create the sound effect for the blaster.
