After consulting with Ms. Jinchi, she suggested making a few changes to my data collection; the questions asked, the pictures to include. She also asked how and when I planned to carry out the the focus group.

Week 10

As this was e-learning week we had to carry out our research. I published my questionnaire on Saturday (1/06/19) as Ms. Jinchi had asked me to and carried out the focus group the following Monday as well. Below is my survey:

Week 11 - 12

This week I continued working on my analysis and also started transcribing the audio from my focus group discussion. However, I had begun by summarising so then I was asked to go create a transcript word-for-word rather than a direct summary.

Week 9 

After consulting with Ms. Jinchi before proceeding to the actual data collection process, I was told to make a few changes and also asked about the pictures chosen. I was told to choose 3 for my survey with corresponding questions for each and six for my focus group so I can understand more in depth.

No feedback as it was e-learning week

Week 11

After consulting with Ms. Jinchi I realised I skipped the first step in focus group data analysis - which was to create a word-for-word transcript rather than a summarised version right away. Ms. Jinchi said it would be easier for me to understand and analyse what is being repeated and emphasises on throughout the discussion this way.

Week 12

Ms. Jinchi said my data collection was good and I could start with my analysis and also suggested a few ways to analyse my focus group transcript and how I should go about it.
