INSTRUCTIONS
Project 2
For this project, we were to collaborate with the final year students from the School of Biosciences. I chose to work on packaging for a jackfruit rag ice cream along with Yameen. Their product brief is as follows -
We started off by creating an initial proposal to present for next week's class - including our selected colour palette, typography and visuals, as well as references for the packaging material and type.
After this, we worked on the logo for the brand, which we decided to call "Moraceae" after discussing with our teammates. Sketches for the logo -

After this we began working on the label and looked into how existing icecream labels are done; also how are teammates' preferred style and worked on a few sketches -

FEEDBACK
Week 8
Mr. Shamsul approved of our proposal, but told us to finalise the branding aspects first by the end of class before proceeding with the packaging. We were also told to think about the merchandise we'd like to do.
Week 9
While working on the lid's sticker, Mr. Shamsul told su to think about how the product would be displayed and in what kind of freezer - this would change how the consumer interacts with the product and the packaging.
Week 10
Our label and sticker was approved after consulting.
