INSTRUCTIONS
Project 1A
For the first part of this project, we had to do a case study for a well-established campaign or event by identifying its brand strategy and its brand experience. After a lot of consideration, I decided to go with Flow Festival, which is a music and arts festival held in Finland.

Project 1B

Week 4
These are my finalised slides for the presentation this week.
FEEDBACK
Week 1
No feedback for this week.
Week 2
Ms. Low commented that my case study was very complete and I had explained their background and brand values well, leading up to the brand experience and identity.
Week 3
What you had mentioned in the background are good, however, do try to include the history or importance of mural art in developing the recognition of art, and how does mural art influences society opinions in the context of India, this is to ensure the proposal is convincing by choosing mural art as the medium.
“This festival aims to convert numerous derelict, run down buildings in the city and renew them with purpose.”—if possible, try to identify the location or building in the featured activities section. You would not need to locate many names for your venue, but there is a need to identify where are the buildings. Or the actual venues for this festival are galleries?
You may also need to define a Theme or Topic for the mural festival, it can be something unique for Kochi City. I foresee for mural art, we will need to set a theme or topic, or else it will be open for the participant to decide what to be painted on the mural? Can it be a theme that is align with your brand value?

London based agency, Praline worked on the identity for Art Night in
2017, a free contemporary arts festival held in London. They aimed to
convey a sense of the energy, opening up the one-day event to a broad
crowd. They used bright colours to show that there was something wild
going on all night. With this, they also managed to attract crowds that
were not part of the niche of art enthusiasts and also older people and
families. The graphics aimed to convey the temporary nature of the event
and also suggest the spaces the outdoor exhibits will be taking place
in. They created designs that were flexible and could be used across
various platforms like posters, billboards, websites and
brochures.
Praline's work for Art Night is a balance between playfulness,
accessibility and the work of artists involved in the event.
